Community Event 1:
Welsh 3000s Challenge
Raised £210 for LLANBERIS MOUNTAIN RESCUE
In June 2022 Matt and Jack Roberts completed the Welsh 3000s Challenge and raised £210 for the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team.
This 19-hour challenge was done in poor conditions and with low visibility. They scaled Crib Goch at midnight in 40mph winds!
Community Event 2:
The EPiC Walk
Raised £2,120 for 5 Local Children to Compete
Matt Roberts solo climbed Snowdon at night and descended the Rhyd Ddu path in the darkness before walking 32 miles before almost being killed by a speeding motorist.
Matt damaged his MCL on his left knee but has claimed publicly that it was worth it for the amount of money that was raised despite the fact that he had to retire from the event 135 miles from the finish line.
